So today I went out to the storage building and pulled out an old dusty container full of my old drawings. I spent the better half of 3 hours going through my old work. The old memories came flooding back. Old friends, high school, crazy stories and dreams. It was nice to step back. And at the same time it helped me look forward too. I can tell my skills are improving, but what I've sadly noticed is how much the computer has hindered my development. It's sad. And still, when I pick up a pencil, the lines and thoughts pour out of me very naturally, while digitally, I have to struggle for every inch of progress.

All of this makes me feel like I should get back into the traditional art a little more again, and also maybe start up with my old story again. I mean, I miss it really, and dragging it out of the dark today just made me miss it more. So my art might take a bit of a turn to things a little less pin-up and a little more conceptual. Maybe.
